Best books regarding the English opening.

Incredibly comprehensive.
There's a reason they say beginners shouldn't play the English. And that's because as an English player, you need the largest repertoire out of any opening you can play with white, as the number of viable responses to 1c4 are numerous in comparison to starting with D4 or E4.

That being said, if you enjoy a challenge, these three books essentially contain everything you will need to know in regards to the English opening. So I would infact recommend these books for anybody, regardless of their current elo/level who's willing to tackle the mammoth task that is learning the English. You will only become a better player in doing so.

So if you are looking to get really good at chess. Invest in these.
