Leela Mating Patterns: Boost Your Attacking Play!
by Grandmaster Daniel Gormally
Recently chess engines have been making waves; they are now so much stronger than human chess players they can give us material and a beating. Inspired by his own humiliations at the hands of the A.I. chess Engine Leela, English Chess Grandmaster Daniel Gormally takes us through the best mating patterns of Leela, an engine that seems born to attack.
In this educational, instructive and entertaining volume you will be taught to:
- Learn an opening repertoire based around Leela’s “contempt factor” of avoiding exchanges while accumulating small advantages:
- Taught Leela’s most destructive attacking ideas.
- Shown how this translates to tournament play, as Gormally takes us through his recent adventures on the English and European chess circuit.
This inspiring volume will help to make you a much more dangerous chess player when holding the initiative- guided by Leela, an engine that seems to revolutionise attacking play.
